Seed Planting and Observation

Children plant seeds in soil and gently cover them, beginning the process of growing their own plants. This activity introduces early science concepts while helping children understand responsibility, patience, and how to care for living things over time.

Instructions

  1. Show children seeds and discuss what they are.

  2. Fill containers with soil.

  3. Plant seeds and cover lightly.

  4. Water the soil gently.

  5. Revisit daily to observe changes.
