This ocean-inspired SEL activity encourages children to create and use a calming sensory bottle while exploring emotional regulation, mindfulness, visual tracking, and calming strategies through hands-on sensory play.
Instructions
Fill the bottle with water and a few ocean-themed treasures.
Add glitter, color, or other calming sensory materials.
Secure the lid tightly before use.
Shake the bottle and watch the treasures slowly settle.
Encourage children to use the bottle while practicing calm breathing.
